The platform itself, "the Machine": a community-built home for European art, myth, philosophy, and music.
The cultural-technology studio behind the Machine, the company that builds and stewards it. The Machine is its European platform.
One of eighteen domains the catalogue is organized by: Mythology, Music, Empire, Year, Philosophy, and so on.
Take stewardship of a territory and become its curator (its "Lord"), shaping what is gathered there.
Nine earned ranks from Initiate to Sovereign. Contribution unlocks real powers (curation, featuring, moderation), never bought.
A higher rank can publicly overturn a lower-rank action. Every veto is logged in the open register, never hidden.
The governance system: members file petitions and vote on real changes to the platform.
The project's own invented philosophy and mythos, the founder's framework of declarations and "laws of beauty" that underpins the register.
The territory of imagined futures: inventions and projects that do not exist yet.
Symbolic guardianships, an "Empress" for each region and cause, the project's fantasy of stewardship over the living world.
The cosmic territory: astronomy, spaceflight, terraforming, the human reach beyond Earth.

Every action earns reputation. Rise through 9 hierarchy levels from Initiate to Sovereign.

Choose from 170+ character types across 17 factions — Vampires, Angels, Shieldmaidens, and more.
Your profile shows which categories you've contributed to, with post counts.
Your hierarchy level, territory, reputation, and top categories shown on your profile.
Category groups (Year, Era/Style, Location, Medium, etc.) — click to browse categories with checkboxes, counters, and Main page links.
Realms (Banners, Heaven, Music, Library, Court, Empire, etc.) — themed content sections and platform features.
Build (create posts) and Search (discover content) — the two main actions.
Hamburger menu in top-left opens all navigation in a slide-out drawer.
Year, Era/Style, Location, Medium, Philosophy, Mythology, Empresses, Dream Engine, Etherith, and more.
Select individual categories or 'Select All' for bulk search. Each shows its post count.
Every category has its own page showing all posts, count, and pagination.
When creating a post, select categories from accordion menus. They appear under your profile.
Threaded discussions on every post. Reply to comments. Earn +1 reputation per comment.
Get notified when someone likes, comments, follows, or interacts with your content.
Follow users to see their activity in your feed. They'll be notified when you follow.

+10 for posts, +2 for likes received, +10 for albums, +1 for comments, +5 for edit suggestions, +15 for approved edits.
Higher levels unlock: album creation, edit suggestions, post featuring, district curation, moderation.

Level 4+ can suggest edits to posts. Authors and Level 5+ can approve.
Flag inappropriate content. Wardens and admins review in the moderation queue.
Claim territory districts. Feature posts in your territory.
