Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ayris Beauty Machine ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Platform is operated under the Ayris Atelier studio name and fiscally hosted by Open Collective Europe Foundation. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and choose a unique username.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account, and any higher age or authorization requirement imposed by applicable law also applies.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts may be suspended where they are used to evade platform rules or manipulate platform systems.
• You must confirm your email address before accessing account features that require verification.

3. User Content

By submitting content to the Platform, you agree that:

• You own the content or otherwise have the rights and permissions needed to submit it.
• Your content does not knowingly infringe the intellectual-property or other legal rights of others.
• You grant the Platform a non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute, and technically process your submitted content as needed to operate the service.
• You retain the rights you already hold in your original content, subject to the licence above and any rights held by other people in material you submit.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Submit spam, automated content, or commercial advertisements without permission
• Manipulate the reputation or hierarchy system through fraudulent activity
• Circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Scrape or bulk-download platform content in a way that violates applicable law, these terms, or the rights attached to the material
• Impersonate other users or platform administrators

5. Hierarchy & Reputation

The Platform operates a 9-level hierarchy system based on reputation points earned through legitimate contributions and other qualifying activity. Administrators may correct or adjust reputation and hierarchy state where necessary to address abuse, mistakes, policy violations, or system integrity.

6. Solicit Court & Governance

The Solicit Court allows eligible users to submit petitions for community consideration. Community processes are part of the Platform’s governance system, but they do not override applicable law, contractual obligations, security requirements, or the responsibilities of the Platform’s operators. Administrators retain the authority required to operate and protect the service.

7. Donations & Payments

• Financial support is voluntary and does not buy reputation, hierarchy, moderation authority, or governance rights on the Platform.
• Card and bank contributions are processed by Open Collective Europe Foundation or Ko-fi under their own terms and policies. The Platform does not store card details.
• Refunds, reversals, tax treatment, and related payment questions are governed by applicable law and the terms of the payment provider or fiscal host handling the transaction.
• Direct cryptocurrency transfers are sent to published wallet addresses and may be technically irreversible once confirmed on the relevant network.

8. Content Moderation

The Platform may remove, restrict, or review content that violates these terms, applicable law, platform rules, or the rights of others. Eligible members may participate in governance and moderation mechanisms such as edit suggestions and the Solicit Court. The Platform’s operators retain the final authority necessary to meet legal, safety, security, and service obligations.

9. Account Deletion & Termination

You may request account deletion through Account Settings. The Platform does not report deletion as complete unless the required deletion steps succeed. Those steps include removal of the account’s platform content and profile and, last, removal of the authentication login.

If a required deletion step fails, the Platform reports that the deletion is incomplete rather than reporting success. Because deletion involves multiple irreversible operations, some data may already have been removed before a later step fails. Where the account remains accessible, you may retry; otherwise contact support so the remaining steps can be completed.

Financial, fiscal-host, payment-provider, or blockchain records may remain where required by law, accounting obligations, provider terms, or the technical nature of the payment rail. The Platform may also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create a material safety, security, or legal risk.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Platform and its operators are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability where applicable law does not permit that limitation.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as the Platform, its service relationships, or legal obligations change. The current revision date will be shown on this page. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
