The workshop
What Ayris Atelier is
Ayris Atelier is a small workshop building digital infrastructure for a cultural counter-movement. For roughly two hundred years culture has suffered a crisis that is at once aesthetic and ecological: identical architecture, disposable goods, materials shipped across the world rather than made with care in a place. Our answer is the revitalizing of artisan quality, which is itself an ecological feature. We work in the European underground register the founder has cultivated for fifteen years: the gothic, the decadent, the classical, the mythological, the philosophical, and the metal-musical, organized by seven artisan priorities.
Our first product, Ayris Beauty Machine, is the connective tissue for that movement. Members tag artifacts across eighteen territories of inheritance and eighteen-hundred categories, so that artisans, illustrators, musicians, builders, and those who steward farmland, rivers, and forests can find one another, document the lineage of their craft, and form local cultural economies built on quality rather than scale. A reader narrowing the taxonomy to 1820s × Painting × Romanticism finds Goya’s Saturn Devouring His Son, the kind of decade × medium × movement × mythology question most cultural archives cannot answer.
Authority here is earned through contribution and the recognition of peers, never purchased. We hold that access to the decorative and applied arts is a form of emancipation, a dignity once reserved for patrons. The Atelier is led from Brussels by Tristithea De Ellendeh, whose fifteen-year practice provides the curatorial foundation: twelve canonical reference works spanning mythology, philosophy, sacred-text canon, character factions, time scales, and banner taxonomies. The platform is the first technical expression of that practice. The Atelier carries the rest.
The workshop holds
Three products under one roof
Ayris Beauty Machine
Live since April 2026The cultural-curation platform
More than a hundred curated cultural artifacts across sixteen of eighteen territories. Eighteen-hundred categories with eight territories canon-coherently restructured. Community-governed via a nine-level merit hierarchy with public-logged veto and reverse-veto mechanics. A persistent gothic frame, member-issued identity graphics, and a community-court petition system.
Ayris Chronicle
Early version liveThe temporal axis
The eighteen-territory taxonomy extended across the geological and astronomical timescale, from Big Bang Nucleosynthesis through the present and forward into deep-future epochs. Mythology figures anchored to their eras as banner-style cultural anchors. A first technical expression of the Atelier’s long-running ambition for a history-machine layer that surfaces cultural inheritance against time.
Ayris Dimensions
In developmentThe four-axis spatial layer
A spatial expression of the same taxonomy along four founder-specified coordinate axes: Location, Reality / Fantasy, Time, Vote. A Three.js foundation is in production at /3d; the full multi-axis expression is the Atelier’s Year 2-3 trajectory. The taxonomic ground is being laid now: every category-canon expansion shipped in 2026 is structural preparation for the spatial layer to anchor against.
Who’s in the workshop
The two founders
Tristithea De Ellendeh
Creative Director · Brussels
Belgian creative director. Leads the curatorial direction of the project. Author of the twelve-document reference canon: mythology, philosophy, sacred-text canon, character factions, time scales, banner taxonomies, the Etherith manifesto. From this canon the platform’s eighteen-territory taxonomy is built. Fifteen-year practice in the gothic, decadent, and symbolist register.
John Cyrus Suriaga
Chief Technology Officer · Manila
Engineering lead. Builds and maintains the platform’s technical infrastructure: data model, governance mechanics, deploy pipeline, test gates, third-party integrations. Committed to a source-available platform shell with a closed curatorial canon. Treats each engineering decision as service to the cultural register the project asserts.

Automated tests
Phase 0 of the platform is complete. More than a hundred curated cultural artifacts live across sixteen of eighteen territories. Eighteen- hundred categories with eight territories canon-coherently restructured. Ninety-eight automated tests gate every deploy through a Sentry-monitored production environment at ayrisbeautymachine.net.
A working community-governance mechanic is live across post and petition surfaces: a nine-level merit hierarchy, public-logged veto and reverse-veto, hierarchical promotion. The Solicit Court petition system handles community-vote governance on real platform changes, gated by reputation level.
